Yep, new block, turbo, pretty sure intercooler as well. Will have to run in once I get it back, but it is now just a waiting game. Estimated 2-3 weeks. Was told the 7k quoted while they were fighting for the warranty was parts at cost price + labour, so possibly have been more if it wasn't a warranty job.

Massive appreciation and thanks to Graham and the team at West End (Sighthill one) for sorting it out. Have been around dealings with them since before I could drive as the Father is on good terms with them since he bought his first skoda in '02.

Hire Corsa has been replaced with 1.6 105 fabia 2, with bonus dealer stickers :rofl: .
