Some of the child seats that are made are bigger than the cars front seats, do we not think the size of these seats has got out off hand..

you should be able to put 3 child seats in the back of any car.

Going on a trip to Manchester nx week.

1st time with THREE adults sat in the back...

...would be interesting to know their bum-ratings after the trip!

Esp the middle person, who probably i will be shouting a lot to move their head

out of the teeny rear window i am trying to see thru :-)

Since I'm new to this who fathering thing, I didn't know that most cars couldn't fit three child seats. I wonder what people do if they have three kids or triplets!

But I do agree that car seats are getting large, was surprised when I first got mine! But then again I don't really have much to compare with. All I know is that I'm a big fan of isofix.

You're correct, no chance of sitting in between two car seats in a Superb.

I beg to differ - my wife can sit between our two child seats and - importantly - get the seatbelt on. I should point out that our two sit in rear-facing Group 1 seats (IIRC, it's the sort that take them up to about 4 years old) made by BeSafe (iZi Combi X3 Isofix).

Her getting in the car was a different matter altogether though!

You're quite right - I was refering to forward facing car seats which tend to have wide side/head protection.

They do indeed, as do the rear facing ones. At least the Superb has plenty of room to get the seats in and out when needed. Much harder in our old A4.
