2 posts in a week, I'm on a roll..

After standing for 2 months on my folks drive...

My Alarm keeps going off in random short bursts

My intermittent wipers don't work (every other wipers function is fine)

When I lock the car, I don't get the indicator flash.. but do on unlocking.

All fingers point at the bonnet latch microswitch according to my searches on here..

Could anything else cause these failures together (apart from coincidence, of course)

p.s. Does double clicking the lock button disable the alarm, or just the dead locks?

Only sold as an assembly.. £30 odd... Bum...

Have you scanned it with vagcom Rob?
