Are People This Stupid?

Featured Replies

Perhaps I expect too much from people who use Facebook but someone has just posted a vid of themselves "drifting" a Focus ST round a wet carpark. For one it's not drifting and secondly surely it's anti-social driving?. Really don't get it myself why they'd bother.

Lol - I agree.. Idiots & they wonder why they get caught!

Nice profile picture ;) - Don't go posting that on YouTube

Yes they are there are a Majority of ST drivers that think ST stands for Stupid Tw** :peek:

That's all I could come up with. Plus it's now online and was apparently to do with a certain cruise.

"Are people this stupid"

Did you really need to ask?

Agree with all the above apart from the facebook bit. After all, a few cretins don't make the ST a bad car by any means.

Martyn, in answer to your question are people this stupid?

check out this knobjockey on the A4069 which we all survived on the wales meet!

I like the fact that the combined IQ of the helpers manages to "SEE-SAW" the car over the grass and of course that won't do any damage to car or the alignment/tracking............................big bunch of idiots!

That one is well known although I don't know who it was who did it. I can't even see how he lost it in the first place. He'd slowed down all he needed to then powered on and understeered, Muppet. I wondered why they were pushing it until near the end someone is carrying his wishbone :D

Whats wrong with drifting? I'm more senior to most of here but haven't grown up yet.

Well, you can't drift a Focus ST seems like the obvious point. Even if you could, drifting in a car park would be treated as dangerous driving under normal circumstances.

Remember you can go from cool to tool in 5 seconds and there is always someone there with a camera to video it :)

not quite sure what these idiots are doing, i suspect they are practicing for the olympic "find a parking space quickly" championships

That fabia ?

Maybe it's me, or it's a rubbish photo, but looks like it have reverse rake (or 'stance' if your scene, yo). Lowered using the slab in the boot technique?

That's it. Looks very odd and I'm not a fan of the wheels. What REALLY p155es me off is how this lot give us proper petrol heads a bad name. Those of us into cars, looking after them and driving them well all get tarred with the same brush and it's frustrating!

The further you scroll down the worse it gets. The red ST is the one "drifting" There's a Mk1 Fabia vRS in there too...

haha.. You seen that tit in the blue Peugeot!

How are people getting away with this? Just seen a picture of a guy in a BMW spinning the **** out of his tyres and he can be seen in the window giving the camera a thumbs up! Traffic police need to be looking on fb!

I wonder why the lass in the last photo got a snap shot... Organizer or the village bike maybe? =)

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Awesome! Doesn't even go in backwards/sideways.

FWIW, I enjoyed going sideways in the snow (when safe). Wouldn't post a video, but I never post that sort of thing anyway. . .

Wouldn't say it's any worse than people posting videos of a brisk drive down a B road really, assuming both are in a safe situation.
