Yes sorry! Spelt it wrong. What pads do you use? Or have you got the standard ones on?

TRW mate - they are just great.

I had them when I had my old setup 256/238 and I've chose them again for my new setup 312/256.

Never failed me.

Ferodo DS2500 all the way, although they are not strictly road legal

Hmm, interesting, thanks jonny.

I had DS3000's on my old Subaru Impreza Series McRae, They were standard fitment on the Impreza P1 when it first came out. They were outstanding for braking performance but braking heavy at night you'd get sparks flying up past the window.

This hot debris would eat into the the wheels and bodywork. I had to have my wheels refurbished and P1 owners had wheel and paint repairs under warranty and Subaru changed the standard fitment to DS2500's. The 2500's were not as good for ultimate stopping power but still a very good upgrade.

But the dust issue isn't completely cured, it doesn't eat into the paint as bad as the 3000's but expect hard to shift dust and a lot of it. It's much harder to get off than a standard road pad and something you need to be prepared for.

Cheers

This is the Brisky thread that they were discussing.

I believe it does say on the box "Disc pads for Race use only".

I'll have a look tomorrow, I have a set in the garage waiting to go on my Roomster B)

As an alternative I'd suggest:

Ferodo DS Performance, Mintex or EBC. I use EBC on my car (Mk1 Fab vRS) and have no problems stopping. Yellow stuff are there track-day pad and are perfectly road legal. I'm sure their Green or Red would be perfectly adequate for you too.

I might give the Ferodo DS performance pads a go then, as I had a lot of trouble tracking down the DS2500's anyway :S
