Dave @ SERE motors. I asked him for exactly the same things last week and this is how much:

Oil 5w40 £24

Oil filter £4.05

Air filter £9.35

Fuel filter £18.66

Sump plug £1.08

Total: £64.14

All prices inclusive of VAT and delivery was £7 I think because it comes from Ireland or N. Ireland, but are all genuine VAG parts too.

Shows Dave is so much cheaper than TPS and Dealer. I bought my service items from him last year too.

Looks like SERE motors could do very well out of this - my next service parts order will go to them !

Wonder if there is anyone out there that can do £60 or less incl delivery for these genuine bits.

Mine was nothing like that much last time round from TPS... I got 10 litres of oil for £28 lol.

That seems quite a lot IMO....

The £64.14 is including the £7 delivery too so you think how much cheaper it is.

I phoned TPS recently and they wanted around £27 for the quantum oil too. I just told then my mate who works at Vindis Audi told me to call :)

Last time I serviced my car I got them from my local Skoda dealer.

That seems VERY expensive for TPS.

£25 for a fuel filter!?! Jeezo. That's a shocking price.

Think I paid about £12 for my last one from local VW dealer. Oil filter was about £3.

You know that most dealers supply and fit Fram filters which are classed as genuine oem.

for the air filter i bought a k and n air filter lifetime guarentee inital cost £30 odd but thats it, no more paying out for another one again.

the oil filters from tps are mann filters, fuel filters are a bit expensive but thought that they need changing every 40k miles.

+1Trev.

Check GSF prices too.

A lot of their parts are genuine, or at least they used to be.

I meant the parts are cheaper because they aren't genuine vag items.

You're the type of guy that buys out of date food because "it's just the same but cheaper", same with everything in life, you get what you pay for.

I buy genuine parts for my car because i look after it. As do most of the people on here apparantly bar a few.

If you want cheap parts theres chinese copys of all the items for a few quid on ebay, thats right up you're street.

P.s i tried really hard with my grammar for you.

You didn't try hard enough I'm sorry.

Out of date food? Yeah, because that's completely relevant.

It was an example of skimping out to save a few pounds.

Are you saying you wouldn't consume a yoghurt if it was one day over the use by date?
