saxo vts

Featured Replies

lad at work has anyone with just an exhaust and cai, just friendly banter. But reckons his saxo will be faster than my tweaked remapped vrs in a straight line. Not wanting to start a flame war but surely if I can keep up with my mates ek9 in a straight line to a point then a vts wouldn't be too difficult, don't know a great deal about them heard they are quick.

Haha I had a Vts cammed before I had my mapped fabia Vrs and my Vts is no where near as fast as my Vrs

Why not go to a track and simply find out :)

Thing about a Saxo is they're made from tracing paper and weigh nothing, but unless you're driving wrong, a vRS should be quicker in a straight line.

my question is why would you want to waste your time with a chav chariot thats full of baseball caps dope smoke and people that say words like bruv init and mcdees it tops maaan..

just say no buddy and let him rattle on with his little space race cos at the end of the day when hes banging on about his being faster he still has to drive it and you drive a fabia :)

nuff said lol

and yes you should be able to smoke it lol

Straight line....oh yes! A to B cross country...maybe not. I don't like Saxos, never did but due to weight and general handling, they are fairly quick on B roads.

Horrible little cars! Sat in one once and my head touched the roof and it felt like it would blow over if I coughed to hard lol A mapped vRS should have no problem in a straight line, driven correctly.

My mates mum was thinking about getting a 1.5d a few years back until I showed them this video, needless to say she didn't get one in the end!

Saxo vts is a quick little car, it's around 400kg lighter than a fabia, I think you fabia would get torn a new poop hole if it was standard, and chipped you may be able to keep up with him... Don't underestimate how well those saxos handle either, the fabia is a bit of a dog handling wise with the heavy engine in front of the front wheels.. The only place where the fabia has a massive advantage over the paxo is the monster torque.

Ask him to race up a steep hill, the Fabia's torque will leave him standing

Followed one around Blytons old circuit. Was good fun. Power to weight of a stock vts is around 130bhp. Fabia is 100bhp. Remapped fabia is around 130-135bhp.

I've beaten 3 in my standard vRS :) simple as that.

My mates VTS was cammed, stripped, intake, super sprint race system etc and I pulled on him :)

If worst comes to worst just get the S2K out.

I just ran the NCAP test for the Fabia back to back with the Saxo and was amazed at the difference.

This kind of thread is not allowed on here (check the rules) so locking!
