Boot wont lock wen ever u press the release catch on the boot lid nothing happens and it wont lock need some helpful info please

Is the problem that the boot won't open when you press the release or that it will not lock and remains open when all the doors are locked?

Does the hatch shut properly, that is, it is held down by the catch when you shut it? If not, does the hatch go down to its normal position, or is it higher than it should be?

Wen u join the the latch to the motor (the 2 white bits) it wont lock but wen u disconnect it it will lock but not open

Only thing i can think of is the motors gone cos wen u press the release button on the hatch it used to move the catch now it dose nothing

If you disconnect the motor can you still open the hatch with the lever by the driver's seat? If so you have a solution until you can get the motor sorted.

I dont have a lever by the seat ?? Apart from the petrol cap bonnet and seat adjusters
