Shopping basket for doing suspension

Featured Replies

I want to make sure I have everything when I have my suspension done

I only have the shocks and springs (30mm drop H&R)

I also am getting :

6x Skoda hexagon head bolt c/w shoulder M8x26 (Part Number -N101 277 07)

2x Skoda shouldered hex nut self-locking M12x1.5 (Part Number – N101 064 02)

2x Skoda hexagon nut self-locking M12x1.5 (Part Number – N903 213 02)

2x Skoda shouldered hex nut self-locking M10x1.5 (Part Number – N909 081 01)

2x Skoda shouldered hex nut self-locking M10 (Part Number – N102 861 02 )

What about the top mount and bearing etc ? 6N0412249C, 6q0412331b ? Any point doing them or is that left to discretion with their wear and year, so no need to purposefully buy them to fit ?

Also would I be okay to leave it on the standard drop links - and also see if they need replacing at the time so discretionary rather than my buying them in advance of changing them as a must have ?

Is it worth having anything else changed when in there too...e.g. ARB bushes will be worn by now

Car has done 100K and I don't currently noise from the front

Cheers

It's down to luck and how much you value your time. How much are top mounts and how much are drop links? With 100k on them already unless they've been done recently i'd personally I'd do the lot as the cost is minimal. I'd also have a look at the console bushes unless they've been done recently.
