This week I'm off to see two Octavia 2003 VRS Estates with the intention of driving one of them home, both around 120k.

I've been after one for ages! I've got a little shopping list of bits to buy/do with it, wouldn't mind some of the super smart people here sanity checking.

Top of the list are some creature comforts:

* Maxidot retrofit

* Cruise Control

Next up some performance:

* Uprated pads, probably greenstuff (which I use at the moment)

* Uprated panel filter

* Stage 1 remap

I'm reasonably confident most of this can be done, other than the maxidot which I'm not 100% on.

Anyway, Hi everyone, with any luck I'll be on here a lot more often!

I've been speaking to Tony at Shark performance who tells me that fitting Maxidot in a Mk1 vRS is pretty much a no-go so I'll drop that from my list for now.
