true story time:

ive been scouring this forum for about 8 months now ever since i picked up my mk1 fabia vrs

unfortunately on the 2 of november 2012, due to my inquisitive mind, while watching an earlier accident at the side of the road i created my own :(

write off.

gutted.

but nothing says going out in style like hitting a brand spanking new mini!

so back on topic

i decided that my insurance wasn't high enough and went out and bought myself a mk1 Octavia Vrs hatch in red.

and so ive fallen in love.

Hes called Clifford the big red Octy and so far deliveries have included:

cambelt + waterpump - done

full service - part done

maf - done

decat - in cupboard

coilovers - done

intercooler - cupboard

cold air intake - done, needs improving

camshaft sensor - on its way

EBC red stuff pads - done

new CV joint - done

catch can - most parts arrived but need tee-piece!

Phew!

thats all i can think of so far,

its been a busy crimbo.

Offt, 20 years old , fault claim (?), performance car, mods.. I dread to think how much you're paying.

Too much, but what's helped massively is that I work in gloucester 5 days a week so I'm insured at my flat,

Saved me about a grand compared to my London address

So it should, the risk difference between an average London and Gloucester postcode is huge
