I'm new on here and would like a little help. I've had my Fabia Vrs estate for just over 7 months and its a fantastic car except one thing. High oil consumption. I've already had the engine replaced under warranty, however with just over a 1000 miles on the new engine I've already put 3/4 of a liter of oil in it. I'm getting very frustrated and not happy with excepting that it just uses oil, especially not in this day and age. It's a brilliant car except for this. Any body have the same problem or know how to resolve this as I've run out of ideas. Thanks.

I think if you search for oil on the forum you will see many threads however at 3/4 of a litre for 1000 miles this is ok and within tolerance according to your handbook, my car uses similar amounts after a breather mod, this meant I didn't get to the new engine fitment.
