Media player problem

Featured Replies

Guys,

What does 'ClassFactory cannot supply requested class' mean on media player? Trying to play mp4...

Which version of media player are you using?

You might want to try downloading version 10 from Microsoft and see if that helps.

I'm using version 10 too, and it won't work - Microsoft's website was as helpful as ever in solving the issue.

I don't want to really, but if I need to, I'll get realplayer or something that plays mp4 from the off. Usually DVD players play MP4s too, except mine doesn't. :o

I'm now downloading the latest program from www.quicktime.com (6.5) It apparently plays mp4 files - we shall see. :D

Damn. :( "lambo.mp4 is not a Valid MPEG-4 file" 2 errors.

I give up. media player, real player, winamp and quick dont play it. Its an omen...

I also get this message.

"No 'moov' atom could be found. Either "lambo.mp4" contains no 'moov' atom, or the file has been corrupted."

I cant get anything to play it either, even nero showtime doesnt work.

Could be a codec problem. Download the latest mpeg 4 codec pack HERE
