Roomster Noire (Monte Carlo type special edition)

Featured Replies

The special edition ŠKODA Roomster Noire model will also be premiering in Geneva. The base model is the Ambition design package, and the engines are similar to the currently available Roomster engines. The Roomster Noire features tinted windows and the SunSet package, black 16' Comet design light alloy wheels, black-tinted headlights and black fog lights. The front grill and rear-view mirrors are also painted black. There is a black spoiler on the front bumper, and a black diffusor on the rear bumper. The centre pillars are sheeted in black. It comes in five colours: Corrida Red, Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Black Magic and Cappuccino Beige. Optionally, a black roof can be chosen. Similar to the ŠKODA Fabia Combi Monte Carlo, the interior of the ŠKODA Roomster Noire is features black and red Sports seats and the small leather package (the 3 spoke steering wheel, emergency brake handle and gear shift knob are covered in leather and stitched with red seams). The front door sill panels and pedals are also stainless steel.

Looks good. I wonder if the 'sports seats' are any different in terms of support & or bolstering from the standard, or just a coloured re-trim

If they are the same as the seats in a Monte they will be much more supportive than standard :)

Yeah, they'll be the same as the ones in the Monte.

Sports seats are optional in the Czech Rep on the Scout too, but sadly not here.

I like. :)

:( It is the only thing that is lacking on the interior front in the roomster IMO. In particular those at a certain stage of tune :giggle:

I must admit, it does look quite smart in those pictures!

Not sure whether Corrida Red, Brilliant Silver, Candy White, and Cappuccino Beige will look similarily good though?

Agree. The 'All in black' masks the odd window line that is the Roomster.

Sorted then - buy a new Roomster, take the front seats out to put in yours, then bin the rest :)

I'm hoping that come sale time for the Mother-in-laws Fabia Sport, there may be a seat switch on the cards as the upholstery is exactly the same as the Roomster Scout B)

Never quite grasped the point of the Roomster being available in Black Magic and also having the option of a black roof at extra cost! Have I missed something?

Because you can specify the black roof with any of the colours. :)

I'm actually looking forward to seeing the other colours to see how the black contrasts. Sunset glass looks better against a lighter colour too.

Believe it or not one of the reasons I bought a Roomster is that I like the looks!

I think black and red interior on the Roomster sounds hideous!

I think Skoda have missed the point with the colour scheme. This is not a sports car !

Apart from white, that version will look good

Yes, I understand that but unless the car is metallic and the roof solid paint why offer black with black?

Unless Im misunderstanding your point, it's the same as the Fabia with black roof - either all black, all white etc or any of the colours but specifically with the black roof option - which is always non metallic. :)

Sssshhhh don't tell Jonny5ive that :rock::rofl:

Sorry Yeti_Man, I understand now, didn't realise the contrasting roof was effectively not the same black as the car.

Perhaps I'm too old to understand a "Black Edition" that's available in red or blue - why not just get Aqua Blue that's grey from 10 feet away and silver from more than 15 - not many cars can change colour so effectively just by moving closer

Think my attitude's a throwback from growing up in Aberdeen in the fifties with only one TV channel (that showed Andy Stewart on a loop) and nineteen foot of snow

This is not a sports car !

Much the same as the CItyGo Go, Yeti_Man's Beast, and my vRoomster.

Isn't the black roof on the Monte black magic metallic?

I could be wrong

Pretty sure it's black magic.

If thats the case I stand corrected. Everyday is a school day. :)
