Car keeps going into limp mode under pressure

Featured Replies

As explained above, when my car is under load, happens a lot whilst overtakin, it goes into limp mode. Lose boost and car sounds like a van. Turn the car off and on again and its sorted

Could it be my MAF sensor doing this as it is un plugged?

Sounds like sticking vanes, I had the same issue

Get it scanned to see what fault codes are stored, but as Chris said, sounds like sticking veins on the turbo.

Also check your boost pipes are not loose. Mine were when I got my vRS, it would cause the turbo to overboost and would go into limp mode.

Mine did this and it was the map sensor. Get it scsnned

Mine did this. It was my vaccum control box that was faulty. And my little intercooler couldnt keep up and it kept putting into limp. Check your intake temp when putting it under alot of load. And try another vaccum box if you can, n75 may be faulty.
