After cleaning throttle body and make basic adjustment of throttle body.After five days I have in vag com the error 1)00282 throttle position actuator v60 44-10 short circuit intermittent.And also2) 01087 basic seting not performed 2710 implausible signal intermittentOK the second I understand Firestone what means.But the 1 does anyone knows? I spray the contacts from throttle to Ecu but nothing happened is throttle body damaged?

It means you have an OPEN CIRCUIT in wiring or the throttle valve positioner (V60) is faulty (most probable).

So dude I must change throttle body again.... is that normal? I have 178.000kms second throttle now inside.Any suggestion to a brand? I HAVE PIEBURG NOW.I HEAR BOSCH IS GOOD BUT EXPENSIVE.How can i avoid to change throttle time to time.My brother has a Hyundai matrix with 350.000kms never change throttle why happend that to VW group cars?

Normally you don't have to change the entire throttle body (TB) if only the throttle positioner (TP) is bad.

Basically the TP is a potentiometer and yours might have a faulty sliding contact.

If you are 100% sure the wiring to/from TB is OK, try borrowing a good ECU and see how it goes with it.

Then if still not OK, try borrowing a good TB and see how it goes with it.

If now it's OK, you know your TB is bad and you can try repairing TP inside. You don't have anything to lose.

Ok, going to plan B. I spoke with a Czech mechanic (Lugosy) and he told me the throttle body can be opened and repaired. I have 22 photos of TB inside/outside from his personal collection. You said you have another faulty TB. I would open it and try to repair. I recommend to take photos step by step and show them here.

He didn't say anything of spare parts, only cleaning the TP inside and making sure its sliding contact is touching properly.

Friend you are correct something happened with potentiometer it shows values 4.6v A friend works in car service he show that and said it's no normal.He told me also that all pieburgs throttles have issues.I show the photos of your mechanic I upload soon mineTry to open mine but friend too hard to openit's all metal.....I will ask from friends help.......to open

Friend another strange think.The msm for MOTORDIAG work. WHEN my friend manage to make adjustment with VAS software fail.But with Texa diagnostic succeed!!!!! The Texa has a mode that make a few movement to throttle to unstuck after that throttle adjustment succeed.Know a few times the idle speed is around 1000 revs but I don't know if it from coolant sensor?

Friend the photos of your mechanic is from skoda FELICIA pickup.mine is O.E 047133061 this is the number ofthrottle body.Can you ask the mechanic is that the same in his photos?

I don't need to ask him about that. TB for 1.6 is different shape, serial is 030133064D.

Stop wasting time. If you eliminated all other causes and you came to conclusion that TB is the problem, what can you do? Repair broken one (yeah, it's difficult) or pay 150 Euro for a new one. What do you prefer?

yes you are correct I will try to repair it.If succeed its ok,150 euro friend is cheap I ask here and told me 400 euro they are crazy.. I found in uk the same pierburg for 200 euro.I found in china for 50 dollar brand new but for 1.6 engines only.The second in the car (Inside now)

Your link is wrong, but I managed to find the photos. Advice: don't take photos with light behind objects.

I've put the schematics below. You need to verify 4 things: motor, micro-switch (MS), potentiometer 1 and 2 (P1, P2)

You need an ohmmeter to measure on the 7-pin TB socket. Here is what to do:

- check motor continuity between pin 1 and 2.

- check MS between pin 3 and 4 - contact is ON when throttle is fully closed - I see a problem on your photo. If throttle is fully closed, the metal lever doesn't push down the button of MS. Is the plastic button broken? Is the throttle flap binding somewhere? Is the return spring weak or broken?

- check P1 between pin 5 and 6 (you should have a smooth variation of resistance when turning throttle flap, no interruptions, no jumping)

- check P2 between pin 6 and 7 (same as above)

The potentiometers can't be seen on your photos. Probably they are deep inside, probably sealed, I don't know. Anyway, check in detail what I told you and get back.
