Speakers Loss of Power

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

I have had my skoda in for repairs after someone crashed into the side of my car and now the sound system is faulty. all the tweeters work fine however the main sub units in the bottom of the doors on the drivers door and both front left and rear left doors have no depth. Its as though there is no amp powering them. The back right passenger door works fine. I have checked all the wiring and everything looks ok. Any ideas? I have also checked the fuses. I tried taking a none working speaker off and plugging it into the rear right door which was working however there was no difference in the loss of depth so i guess its blown speakers?

Thanks

Chris

speaker damaged when car was hit/repaired. or a panel beater stuck his finger in he cone when repairing the door. Swap the speaker from the other door to see if it work in there.

May sound petty, but have you checked the Balance Setting on the HU?
