The Queen is visiting Cambridge today and as a result there seemed to be a few intersting Skuds about...

The first was an innocent enough looking '04' dark metallic green estate Octy. Closer inspection revealed what must be the rough road kit along with additional aerials and the like. I thimk it must have been a 4x4 version

The second was a base-looking spec '04' plate Silver Octy run by the Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service - all stickered up :cool:

Anyone else seen any interesting Skuds recently?

My eyes are laying upon the thing now - I can see it out of my window. I want his wheels and brakes!

I normally have to park in the visitors car park, I normally work in March, but come to Cambridge about once a fortnight...

Mine is debadged, and today I'm in a courtesey car. 1.4 16v Estate in Grey!

Hello I have completely drained the cooling system to replace the coolant in my 1.4 MPI. To refill my Haynes manual says to remove the temperature sensor from the cylinder head to allow air to escape. I pulled out the clip and then lifted out the sensor which came out by pulling. I then filled the system until coolant was seen in the sensor hole. I then the replaced the sensor but noticed coolant leaking from it. On inspection noticed that the sensor was able to move up and down with the clip in

Evening, just looking to see if anyone is experiencing the same issue as me with my Karoq 1.5 Tsi (73 plate)…. So the car has perhaps half a dozen times or more cut out completely when slowing down, no stall / kangaroo or otherwise, power simply gone, resulting in me having to restart the car when in a rolling motion. Very unnerving especially with traffic approaching. I’ve tried to recreate the event on quiet roads with no success so I’ve no idea what action causes this. I had thought

Been here a little under 7 years. Great forum, I'm sure I'll hang around still but I've moved my octy on now for a VW Tiguan. The Octavia was a cracking car, reliable too. I took it from 47k to 120k miles, and it really didn't disappoint. The only issue it had was the heater matrix, which I had replaced eventually after freezing hands in winter!! It will pass to a new owner with full service history (Independent Vasstechnik in Eastbourne who are just great with all VW group cars). I've left
