Hello guys,

let me introduce myself, my name is Charles, coming from Prague/CZ and it has been some time since I have traveled around the world to gain some life experience. Now I live one year in Brussels where I work. As time passed I realized I need a car upgrade. After some investigating what should suit me, I liked A4/A6/Passat CC, decided to buy "my" national superb estate in Elegance. Its not my first (nor only) Skoda owned - owned or had as a company car above mentioned, but was very surprised by few things:

a) Skoda is still doing better and better, even me can see the difference in time (of course in better way). I am amazed by the Superb2 car, it really did outperformed any expactations I had about the car.

VAG is doing somehow - I dont like industrial design what they have introduced recently and quality simply differs among the cars for much more money. However I dont like new desing perfomermed by Skoda, all the cars simply losing their personalities.

c) what a huge communities on the web adoring Skoda in many countries!!! Gone through many of topics just from curiosity. As borned in early 80, well the Czechs had (and having sometimes) problems to trust themselves in achieving the best of their own - the ages 45-90 were very difficult.

d) sad that all the success havent met another really good Czech companies in times and they are becoming forgetten in commercional failures in nowdays economics.

As I came through few topics fighting with translation CZ-EN in your looking for help, I can help, of course I am not first and only Czechoslovakian in the forum, just for case
