Is this oil ok for my fabia Vrs?

Featured Replies

Hi guys I'm fully aware that there are threads dedicated to oil information. But I seem these on eBay and was wondering if it will be suitable for my car. On the bottle it says that the oil is good for pd engines. Cheers amu9abat.jpg

Yep that's the genuine stuff main dealers use.

Thanks mate:-) ill be investing in this then. One bottle for flush other to fill the baby up with:-)

You only need one mind. 5L is enough and Rainworth Skoda do a bottle for £29.99 delivered on eBay

If you do to a skoda/ vw main dealer and ask for some with discount they can usually do it for £19.99 +vat that's how much I payed from vw

2x5L one just for flush ?? Are you quite alright ?? :giggle:

Just warm the car up before changing then let it out. Anything beyond that is a total waste - both environmentally and financially.

If you are that bothered you could of course change at twice the interval - 5k instead of 10k

That would be a waste too mind...

ok if ones enought then so be it. I normally flush with 5 litres when servicing cause I like the oil to be mega clean. Christ if you think that's a waste when my mate at work changes oil he changes it every day for one week to make sure it's changed properly. Extreme I know lol

Is your mate American? They're the only people I've ever known to be this stupid with oil changes 'Whenever it changes color it gets changed'.

It'll be black as soon as you turn the key though anyway, with it being a diesel.

Remember diesel is a relatively new phenomenon for our American cousins, as it seems are service intervals on the large unstressed blocks they used to run.
