Hesitation when moving off

I gather that there is some software which will overcome the lag or hesitation which is often experienced with the DSG gearbox when moving off from stationary. I had this problem on a diesel Octavia and now I have it on a new petrol Superb. Yes, by careful management of brake and accelerator, it is possible to overcome this, but circumstances do not always allow this, resulting in one or two hairy moments.

Information and source of supply of said software, etc., would be appreciated.
