Mid life crisis

Featured Replies

Hi all, our good old ford galaxy was starting to get a little tired so we went looking for a good practical replacement. Having enjoyed the reliability and running costs of the VW 1.9 TDi fitted in the galaxy we wanted to buy into the vag group. We went out to buy a A4 avant but were very disappointed with the internal dimensions of the car expecially the small boot. Next was the seat exeo but being based on the A4 suffered the same problem..to small. The passat estate just didn't do it for us which only left skoda. An octavia estate was our next viewing. Well we didn't get that far as on the same forcourt there she was.... in race blue, big 18" alloys and a badge on the back saying vRS. As a mid 40's male having a bit of a crisis I just had to have it...... Big boot, spacious interior, detachable towbar satisfied the practical side and the rest is just pleasure. I am now 2 weeks into being a proud owner of a octavia vRS 2.0 TDi CR DSG and can not get enough of driving it..... Thanks for reading. All the best. Chris
