When I went to have a look at the new Octavia 3 in the showroom earlier this week I noticed that in the cupholders on the centre console there was a handy little mobile phone holder, it is a decent quality rubber, fits the cupholders perfectly and my iPhone fitted perfectly, I usually store and charge my phone in the cupholder so I decided to see how much they were to buy as an accesory, they are £5 plus VAT, so checked to make sure it fits in the Mk2 cupholder and it does.

So will pop in and pick it up next week, for £6 in total it has solved the problem of a phone wobbling around which really annoys me!

Yes I could use the little cubby hole etc but that has things like power cords, coffee vouchers etc stored in it

Anyway, just thought I would let people know in case anyone was looking for something similar.

No, sorry I havent, should be picking it up on Tuesday, it had a part number stamped on the bottom of it so will let you know then.

Will be great to get part number, I saw this very thing in a review vid of the new one and instantly thought exactly the same, my phone seems to spin around in the cup holder as is

Sorry, it was funny as I had never seen one before and on my way over to the parts desk the sales guy I deal with asked me what I was doing and I said wanting a price on this little thing and he said it will be mega money, probably about £40 or soemthing stupid so when I got the price I was really surprised. I had been looking for something similar on ebay but never came across anything, so this is perfect and a bargain price! Having looked at Super Skoda in the past there stuff seems to be either really reasonable or stupidly expensive!

When I get it next week I will get some photos and measure the whole, but if the Nexus is similar to an iphone 5 in size then yes I expect it will, when I tried my phone in it (mine has a plastic case around it) it fitted in with probably 4mm all around spare, hope that might help you.

M12mkd says it fits his s3 so it will fit a nexus 4.

i also hope its ok with a Nexus, although i usually keep my phone in my pocket and calls via bluetooth, texts can wait for a reply when its safe to do so.

The part number quoted is for the Citigo version which is completely round, whereas the OP is saying the part is the same as the one on SuperSkoda which has straight edges. I guess they'd both fit in any case.

My local skoda dealer just quoted me £20 each for these ;-( are they worth that?
