Following from the Furby Vs. Lamborghini thread......

Featured Replies

I was speaking to my uncle last night about the Furby Vs. Lamborghini thread and he was very interested. You see he owns a rather nice white Lambo and would happily race any Fabia up his driveway.

So the offer is there, if anyone is interested he's in Shrivenham, near Swindon.

That'll be his "private" driveway, eh Phil? ;)

Chris

There is no doubt in my mind that the furby would win, i saw one racing the new alton towers ride Rita the other day and the poor dear didnt stand a chance, the furby was unmodified as well.

Private driveway....that'll be the A420 then. ;)

Very quick road...not sure if there are any speed cameras on there now though.

What Lambo has he got?

The A420 is littered with cameras and a 50mph limit these days

Shame...was a good road to hack down....still can boot it up the hill part just outside Shrivenham though?

I've got a vid of me chasing a yellow Diablo round the Ring - I was out playing with two 911s and we eventually caught the Lambo. :D He really didn't want any of us to pass him and used full welly when he saw a straight or jinked about to stop us "peasants" passing him  In the end the 911s double teamed him going imto a corner and I got him coming out from under a yellow flag. :D

Or a certain Ferrari driver who writes for Evo mag who didn't appreciate being caught by a Skoda and having blocked me for a while got very upset when I forced though though a chicane and then blocked him down the straight - his lap was 3 minute slower than mine :D

< Note to self: do something with the hundred hours worth of in car track vids you have in your drawer >

Sounds good, I'd like to see some of your vids!

I've seen a porsche hold up a M5, which didn't please the BMW driver heehee

I've seen a 911 hold up a Skoda, which didn't please me, sorry, the Skoda driver :D

OK heres the deal...

ill drive the lambo, he can drive the furby.. this will remove any element of drivers being used to their respective cars

I overtook a Lambo once..... he was stuck on the hard shoulder with his hazzards on :)

Come on then Tavia - lets see these vids !!!!

Tavia you could be onto something. Make a compilation video of your best exploits, copy it and sell them for a fiver each at meets and by post!

I would pay a fiver to see you chasing cars at the ring :) Sounds much better than those max power videos in halfrauds.

Jon with hanky on head or virtually nude buxom blondes?

No brainer really. ;)

I've seen a skoda push a 911 GT3 beyond its limits.. pass leave and lap him round anglesey... and this was no newb virgin.. was a full gt3 with cage etc.. track tyres and owned/driven by a 911 specialist... (who i sold my 911 to in the end.... his face when he saw the octy the day he picked up the 911 was a picture...)

While your at, what about those photos, eh? :P

Think I'd better make a little project of it - it'll deffo take a while.

Right, I need some editing software - any ideas?

Just spoken to my uncle - he's really keen to give you Furby boys a thrashing - any takers?

No because then there would be proof that us furbie drivers talk out of our a*se!

Though it would be nice to see the lambo in full swing!!

Here's a photo of an identical model:

0411310163207.jpg

The "Racing" Graphics are actually standard factory fit.

165 BHP

500 Nm @ 1400 rpm

6 cylinder 18v turbo with intercooler.

Gearbox oil cooler

6 multispeed gears giving 27 speeds forward....another 27 in reverse

4 wheel drive

Nice one! :D

Thats a LOT of torque, eh? :D Doesn't look as aerodynamic as a furby, but still, it has another 30bhp and RWD to help with grip a bit.
