Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Im curreently looking to buy my first skoda and want a skoda octavia tdi vrs but ideally would lik the new shape.

i have only seen a 2009 plate with 115,000 in my budget.

Is this too many miles and should i stay away. Failing that im looking at the mark 2.

Any suggestions or tips on my search for a new car.

regards,

Mike

Hi Honorary have you any concerns over getting a car with 11000 miles on the clock 2009 facelift model or would i be i better going for the mark 2 with a lot less miles.

regards,

Mike

I assume the car in question has done 110,000 miles rather 11,000 else you would not be asking my opinion. Without knowing your budget, the intended use of your car and your annual mileage it is difficult to offer advice. I always try and find a car in excellent condition for its year, and ideally one with low mileage too although that isn't a deal breaker because my annual mileage is low. I prefer the looks of the facelift model but others prefer the earlier one. 110,000 miles on a 2009 would be way over the top for me.
