Hi all,

Regarding the red lights on the inside of the door of my vrs is there a fuse to shut them off.

Came to my car this week with a dead battery, which I now suspect to be these lights staying on.

After a small search on here it looks like I need a new micro switch.

All questions relating to the drivers door:

Does the buzzer come on when your lights are on?No

Does the dash light recognise the door is open when you open it?No

Does the interior light come on when you open the door and it's set to the correct setting, not always

And now my door lights are stuck on, I can't turn the bloody things off!

Any ideas please as I need to leave my car for a week from tomorrow and don't want a dead battery on return. I could disconnect it I guess

Yeah I just hoped a fuse would have been easier

it would ... not sure which one it is though .... just a note if you lock the car with the bonnet open and disconnect the battery the alarm will go off .... and it seems to take forever to get that lead on and unlock the car when its howling ....

According to the manual

Fuse 5 "door warning light" 5 amp

First line (closest to the windscreen) fifth fuse down.

Why don't I ever think to look in the manual!

That should do till I get the switch sorted.
