Exactly why i done it thought car looked really dark inside

Hence the gloss part ;)

Looked the shizzle in mine. Pics will be on Skoda used website soon so take a look.

After a ride in a DS3 I want to do my bits in carbon wrap and then somehow lacquer it so it goes shiny!

But as I am a tool with any kind of DIY I need to find someone to do it for me! Haha

sound's good, I know someone who has a ds3r, went out in it few week's back, the orange gloss on dash is a bit in your face.

Looks brilliant Trev, looks as though it should be like that as standard. If only i was man/handy enough to do that to mine...

Thanks, didn't do it myself though, have a mate who sprays car's for a living that did it for me :-)

I think it looks good :) . I could probably paint them myself - but I don't think I can pull out all those plastic-bits/trims.

The bit's came out fairly easily to be honest, the only one that didn't come out so easily was the middle air vent trim

The middle air vent looks wrong IMO. It doesn't blend into the air con bit now. Not my cup of tea.

Used to have that matte silver finish from stock and found it cheap looking.

Gloss black is a nice option and in your case a metallic blue might have been quite sexy. Do at least the door handles so everything matches.

Below is what I did with mine and never regretted it - more here http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/223753-32kofdata-fabia-sport-mkii/page__st__60#entry2816426

The gloss black does look pretty nice, think metallic blue would have made it look tacky, do the door handles come off easy?

I don't like that gloss black at all - and especially not on the chrome bits. If you had kept the chrome it would have been better, but that is just my opinion. I AM a chrome-guy though. I should have been born in America :D .

BINGO!

How did you take off the heater surrounds is it one piece? as Im thinking about getting all the same bits Hydrodipped :D didn't even think about the gear surround. Was originally thinking Red & black camo but can't get white instead its grey :/ so thinking carbon or now the black piano

side ones come off really easy, middle one not so easy, it's in one piece but feels really flimsy and like it will snap, just get someone to help you, one on each corner at same time so clips come out both sides at same time, just be careful with it should be ok
