I had a P reg 1.8 RSI clio that used 0.5L every 500 miles and every dealer told me it was normal.

After the warranty expired, an independent found the cause. Rocker cover gasket was pinched and split when the engine was built. New gasket and consumption ceased.

If the oils dropping it's going somewhere. Got to be a seal or maybe the turbo?

The Oil used in faulty Twinchargers does not leak or get thrown out the exhaust, it is burnt due to bore wash.

The Piston Rings are one of the main problems.
