Yellow Peril

Featured Replies

FFS! I've heard of this happening elsewhere as well, was it in one of the Goodwood threads?

Has it really got to the point where we're all going to have to start having locking wheel nuts/bolts all-round? :(

Yep that happened to me, but was the front passenger wheel. 3 bolts fell out and 1 vanished completely. The other 2 were loose!

Unlucky it happened to you too Richard but at least no harm was done. Was it the same wheel that was scuffed? Maybe they caused the damage?

Interestingly it was the same wheel, rear passenger side.

Wow.

The Rapid is really growing on me at the mo. I saw a really smart one on the way to work today.

Rapid is back from GleamMachine with an extra coat of protection and ready for the big Brisky meet on Sunday.

Hope it doesn't pee down on the way there...

I hope you still think that when you see it in the metal. :D

Tell me about it - lots of people want to see the JPS in the flesh - I think you will probably have a bigger percentage of satisfied customers :)

That looks awesome :-)

Looking forward to seeing what my guy can do with mine when he details it tomorrow.

Fiver says it rains and leaves water spots all over the car before Sunday :-( My own fault for not buying a house with a garage I guess!

Current weather report is that it's going to be pishing it down on Saturday evening.

Might be better to wait until arrival on Sunday! :D

Saw the report this evening and it says Sunday will be slightly less showery! :)

Looking very smart there. I've no chance of getting mine washed in between now and Sunday so will turn up in one of the grubbiest cars there I think    Can't help the weather   :rain:

Yes, but yours is a colour that really doesn't show when it's grubby. ;)

Pic from a week ago.

Guy's outside work doing mine right now ... It never occurred to me to get my niece or nephew to do it for their pocket money :D

Mine's done and all nice and shiney, looks to bead up nicely when sprayed with water from a bottle, if we get any rain between now and Sunday it'll be a good test ... did take a photo but the camera on my phone is **** so there's no point uploading it :)

Didn't realise your Octy was the same colour as my Yeti until I got home.

Neighbours think I have a red and yellow thing going on...

But your paint work should look 6yrs fresher!

We should park them Red Yellow Red Yellow and take a pick!

My neighbour feel off his weeding stool in the garden when I parked on my drive, came and had a chat like normal, after 10mins he said " It's a Skoda! Thought it was an Audi A3 Saloon!"

He was very impressed.

Because it's still such a new shape I've had a fair number of people think it's an A4 from the side or rear.
