There we go.

Was rushing and screwed up the link.

Lovely colour, the wife has a KA in a sort of yellow/lemon and I think it looks great, I was thumbing through a Rapid brochure and noticed this shade, if I was in the running for a Rapid I would probably go for this shade.

  • 3 weeks later...

Bit of good news.

Popped into Preston Motors today (although Lee did contact me) and the build has come forward three weeks.

So the car should arrive two/three weeks before the Briskoda Mega Meet now. :)

Bad news... parted with more money for my Mum's service/car!

But you are soon to be the owner of a nice Preston Motors jacket Richard :party:

I've been looking at the two fandango spoilers on Superskoda.

Both the one I've bought and the other one with the little wings on the top.

Not convinced, so have ordered the 1.4 DSG Elegance lip spoiler for now...

Not sure the big ones suit a car with very little in the way of sporty body styling.

About 5 weeks before the car is delivered.

Need to get the wheels ordered. :)

i ordered the V1 spoiler (the one with the little wings on the top) and also ordered new rims (same size 16X7 but i wanted other color and design and lower offset)

i will have my Rapid delivered early next week

these OZ looks real nice!

what ET are these?

i wanted to go with 17X7, but since it will be a family car, it would be too much for me, so i stayed with 16X7, to have some comfort as well.

ET 35 so the car get's almost 2 cm wider, which will probably add some points (factory wheels ET45 make the car look a bit narrow IMHO)

Thanks, they are ET35 as the stock rims.

So being a bit wider rims will just help the look (IMO) as they'll be slightly less tucked under the car.

which car is this (the one with the stock rims ET35) ?

The standard Elegance alloys in the UK (16 and 17) are ET35, (ET45/46) the same as the mk2 Fabia.

Edited for my mistake.

thx for the info...

that's strange.. i wonder why they import it in Greece with 16X7 ET 45 (alloy wheels)

Opps, I was wrong. Small steels are ET35.

16 inch alloy rims are ET46

17 inch alloy rims are ET46

So, after my mistake on ETs, the 18x8 are an inch wider overall and 10mm further spaced out. (ET35 rather than ET45)

Having checked with OZ the outside face will be almost in line with the external bodywork on the Rapid, which is why they make them in the ET35 fitting.

That's the set up they are TUV approved in Germany for.

Can't believe you've changed spoilers... having seen the lip one I don't think it's big enough :)

My Octavia vrs spoiler should be here this week.

Different to v1 and v2 from super Skoda and half the price.

Lip spoiler is £130 from skoda!!

Logic is, I can upgrade later if I want to.

The SuperSkoda ones need four big bolts to mount...

:)
