i like it! The blackened part of the lower bumper, makes it look more aggressive and wide.

Nice - I have some competition ;)

Except you've got a headstart. ;)

Looks nice and top marks to Leon

Ref. the lower bumper, what about a quick PS of a Bocanegra type set up? Just thinking outside the box

The pic doesn't do the wheels justice, in the metal they are stunning

I took a rapid out for a spin yesterday and was very impressed: it was the tsi 86 and it felt nimble and light on it's feet and not underpowered at all. I should think that the 105 with six gears would go very well indeed -perhaps not quite as fast as your other cars though :giggle:

Well, it was built last week as planned...

Woo :)

Look forward to seeing the bits go on it!

Don't forget you're buying it in a few months! ;)

Sounds good, I'm still up for taking it to Gayden for you.

Thanks.

All looking good, it should arrive a few weeks before the big meet. :)

It's waiting for the boat... :D

Where was it shipping from? I saw that a container ship sunk last week!

Emden, or however you spell it. :)

That's the one. Had some goods that were eventually destined for my work :(

Richard, have you ordered something to replace the Swing stereo with that you mentioned elsewhere on the site? What are you going to put in it's stead?

I'm quite happy with the Swing unit myself but it'll be interesting to know what options are available should I decide to rip it out and put something a bit more blingy in :)

To be honest I have not looked at that yet.

I'll see how it goes first and then make a decision.

If the hole is the same size (it usually is) I'd probably go for a Columbus or the Admundsen.

I think being the Elegance it's got bluetooth anyway.  If that's the case I may just leave it rather than pay daft money out.

In hindsight I should have added the Amundsen unit, which I did in the Fabia Scout for work.

I think the Amundsen fits fine, although with Skoda you never know if there are different variants/sizes with the same name :giggle:

I did look at getting the Amundsen when I was waiting for the Brodit clip to be available for order, but at £250+ for a second hand one on eBay, added to the fact I already own a perfectly functional TomTom, it seemed to be an extravagant expense just to get some satnav :)

Maybe it's just the picture but the yellow doesn't look as punchy as I was expecting.

Is it the same yellow that was used on mk2 Octavias?

I really like that yellow :P

Supposedly...

I'ev already told Lee it's far too dull but he assures me it's brighter in the metal.

I'm popping in for a look on the way home.

It's Sprint Yellow, the same as the Octy mk2.  Alledgedly

If it's not brighter I'm going to be a bit disappointed.

The yellow might well look punchier, the whole image looks kind of "dark" - digital cameras and 18% greyscale effect I think.

A couple more... (pics thanks to Lee at Preston Motors, who missed it coming off the transporter. ;) )

I would totally want to be the one to peel off the protective wrappings. There's something quite satisfying about removing them from small LCD screens on phones and cameras etc, the TV was excellent where-as doing that would be awesome :D
