Well after about 3 years of wishing for a vrs I got one 3 weeks ago. Last night my wife smashed it into fence. Everyone was ok but the car is a probable write off. Bonnet/bumper/lights/door/sill/rear door and by looks of it wheel and other suspension/ chassis related parts.

Totally totally gutted. Gutted.

as you can imagine the timings a bit off being that i only drive about 200 miles in the thing.

cars not being broken sorry.itll prob be written off.its at garage n they will deal with it for me.only thing i have to go is brand new floor mats.aside from that itll get taken away.yeah everyone is ok which is good.but my head is pickled with too much happening at the minute which isnt good.lol

Just take it back and break it yourself. I wish I did when they wrote my first one off. Your more than likely going to make a bit of money back that way too

I'm sorry but metal vs my wife... I know which I would choose (joking aside). Car's can be replaced but people cannot be, yes it's a shame you only just got it but if you're feeling this bad from loosing a car don't try and imagine if it had turned out the other way.

yeah im thankful for everything.obviously that everyone is ok.just i wanted one for so long and it was a right hard graft to get and all the worry.money isnt easy to come by so its a gutter that ill end up losing over a grand.i dont have time or tools to break, time mainly.im trying to open a business at the minute too.anyway...im not going for another car as of yet.concentrate on other things and itll be a lesson for her.lol

Yes my first, unfortunatley when i bought my first fabia i like the guy who started the post had the car less than a month, was waiting to pull out of a junction, a land rover was coming towards me, slowed down but the indicator on so as they trned i pulled out.. they then changed their mind and lost it and smashed straight into me which was wonderful took ages to get it so it wasn't my fault for insurance purposes! i have only wrote one off though so dont worry lol. Ahh well thats what insurance is for at least your wife is ok, you cant buy another one of those in the classifieds on here! ... maybe on other forums however, and they may not come with an english instruction manual and may well be clocked.
