went in for warranty work and came out worse!

This thread is the reason I always insist on my dealer going around my car (and any hire car I have from them) and agreeing defects, etc. before they start any work on it.

I had an issue with my dealer on my second service when it was returned with a scratch on the rear bumper (a bad one) - fortunately, the service manager was brilliant and had it repaired free of charge.

It's disappointing seeing threads like this, and shows just how important good customer service is.

My supplying dealer is D M Keith Leeds (car was sourced through Forces Direct before I left the service).

Pick up was great and I was hopeful of developing a good relationship with them as it was my first ever brand new car. Thankfully, they have been:

@ 1500 miles, the driver's door card had developed a depression where I rest my arm occasionally. Booked in, changed under warranty, no quibble.

After the last service @ 36k I arrived home, walked round my car and noticed a long but minor scratch/scrape on the front passenger wheel. I'm quite anal with my alloys and was furious as I know they were in perfect condition before dropping it off.

A quick phone call to Emma who said not to worry, they'd sort it. I emailed a couple of photos, and booked the car in. They lent me a car for the day while it was sorted and when I picked it up the next day, I can honestly say you cannot tell it's been repaired.

Anyway OP, very sorry to hear about your troubles, sounds like you need to find a better dealer!

They are out there, good luck!
