OK , so the Furby has gone in for surgery.

When will it be back in one piece and running?

Well, back in one piece is just a bit of mechanics,

RUNNING is a totally different matter!

edit: Nice Poll choices! :thumbup::rofl:

there's no option for Oh bug-ger it wont fit

I think the flintstones one will cover that.

I'm curious to see if the sump will be resting on the floor at all times

Don't worry about the sump - due to the extra weight of the new lump, the coilovers will be being wound up a few turns to compensate. :)

I've been waiting weeks for you to drop it off at the garage so I could start this poll :D

Ooops, two flinstone votes! best keep the weight of the ice down.

Hope you get it back soon though in fine working order.

I've heard gossip today that its going to be a "hybrid turbo monster"

 I heard that too!

Went for the month option, judging by the fact that I hope to be at Jabba for when it gets mapped in July... :D

still think a vRS would have been better/cheaper in the long run

Hehehe , first vote for fatalities :D

Better make that two :D

:finger:

Just heard that the front bumper is already off, OEM intercooler is OFF, and engine mounts are about to be worked on. I reckon the original engine will be out by the end of the day. ;)

Only problem I'm facing now, is that the Allard FMIC is still in production and won't be with me for seven days or more, so the car might be "in limbo" for a while. :( Should be worth it though. :D

...and I just voted for the 'week' option

How well can a car run without an intercooler of any kind at all? ;)

If it will "run" without an intercooler of any kind (just talking about ticking over in the workshop) then I will class that as end of project. ;) The FMIC will then just be a "mod" :D:rofl:

If its as good as the Octy one they did for me its def worth the wait

Sorry , but for the purposes of the poll it has to be complete and drivable on a public road.

Missing bits of engine do not count , although I hope you will keep us updated on the daily progress

Just had to vote Flinstone - it's too good to miss :D :D

I'm sure it is gonna be ace once back in one piece - hopefully I'll finally have the 'Freedom' thing cleared PayPal-wise by then :(

You don't need the Intercooler to run it, but performance will be poor.

I have every faith that it'll be running within 2 weeks

Please re-name Poll

ERROR Fabia Dissasembled !!

This just took a turn for the worse tonight. :thumbdwn:

And I'm booked in for bodywork tweaks on 27th June. That IS a deadline I don't wish to have to put off. :(

So the PD100 is going back in to have the rust treated?

This would be getting the holes cut in the floor?

Nope - I may have to postpone, OR, if the PD130 is in and running, run it to the body-shop without an intercooler of any kind in....
