Don't worry about the sump - due to the extra weight of the new lump, the coilovers will be being wound up a few turns to compensate.

Just heard that the front bumper is already off, OEM intercooler is OFF, and engine mounts are about to be worked on. I reckon the original engine will be out by the end of the day.

Only problem I'm facing now, is that the Allard FMIC is still in production and won't be with me for seven days or more, so the car might be "in limbo" for a while. :( Should be worth it though.

How well can a car run without an intercooler of any kind at all?

If it will "run" without an intercooler of any kind (just talking about ticking over in the workshop) then I will class that as end of project. The FMIC will then just be a "mod"

Nope - I may have to postpone, OR, if the PD130 is in and running, run it to the body-shop without an intercooler of any kind in.... :eek:
