Q? Might there be a market for a vRS Superb?

If they allow the combination of the Sportline trim with the 280ps 4x4 engine, I think that's the closest the SIII will come to having a "vRS" version.

If they restrict that trim to the less powerful engines, it'll just seem like a Superb Monte Carlo

I reckon the biggest impediment to a Superb vRS is Audi. At the price point such a model would be placed at, the market is a good deal smaller, and I suspect it'd eat into Audi A6 sales quite a bit.

 

Exactly what a dealer told me yesterday,something about putting skoda into its correct position in the vag group pecking order.

 

Shame as I in the market for a replacement car and I am not an audi fan.
