You need to (obviously) dry out the inside of the car.

Oh, and next time you use offensive / aggressive language to someone just trying to find out how you managed to get wet electrics, I'll do more than just hide the posts.

I took offence to your comment how the hell did you get water behind dashboard sounded really nasty like I was stupid. in future be carefull how you speak to people how are really on her looking for help ihad lights flashing dials not working really need some 1 advise not smarmy as you came across see you said after all you need to do is dry out good advise I may have took your comment wrong way and got upset

Well, sorry if I came across that way, but I have wet-vax'd my interior and never had electrical issues. I did ensure all 5 doors were open for venitlation though, and left them open after doing the job so no stagnant moisture could remain inside the cabim

Are you sure the two are linked at all? Have you been behind the dash and verified the moisture? Maybe have someone with VCDS to connect the car as electrical faults usually generate fault codes. This might help to find where you might be having issues.
