For some reason, my car will rev and brake at the same time.

Nearly faceplanted the windscreen finding out but it does it.

So I don't think it's all VAG cars that don't, mine is also fly by wire accelerator setup.

Just wish I was talented enough to make use of the feature.

Thats like putting a supercharger on a diesel lol.. defys the whole reasoning for a diesel.. good mpg high torque.. good reliablilty

My Polo GTI does it too - maybe it's only for sporty cars?

I never realised it did it though until earlier this week when I tried it and the revs shot sky high! It's got really bad pedal placements though so it's not very easy.
