I think putting a diesel CR 170 lump into a Mk2 Fabia would be a much more attractive swap

RE: Heel and toe, it helps if your accelerator is something like this.

For some reason, my car will rev and brake at the same time.

Nearly faceplanted the windscreen finding out but it does it.

So I don't think it's all VAG cars that don't, mine is also fly by wire accelerator setup.

Just wish I was talented enough to make use of the feature.

Thats like putting a supercharger on a diesel lol.. defys the whole reasoning for a diesel.. good mpg high torque.. good reliablilty

My Polo GTI does it too - maybe it's only for sporty cars?

I never realised it did it though until earlier this week when I tried it and the revs shot sky high! It's got really bad pedal placements though so it's not very easy.
