This may well be first time we don't turn up  ....if we can get there we'll buy tickets on the gate

Ilmor now can't turn up, despite paying up front, so there's now two spots available in all.

I've taken my first self-preservation step for this session and invited a car from vagowners to come to our session.  In an ibiza cupra so fairly similar and I sort of know the owner.

 

Early signing up to this event would have stopped me looking elsewhere.  If there's no more signing up this coming week, then I start having to look to Pistonheads and similar.  Really don't want to do that. :(

 

 

Got one extra skoda just now so more reassurance. One Cupra won't hurt

I've not bothered looking in here for a long while due to someone digging their heels

in right when the event was first announced with the whole Skoda only BS. 

After all the Skoda only session went so well last time

It's a shame as I would have paid in full right at the start to have a chance to take

part in this. Particularly as I was unable to make the Mega meet due to poor health.

Just browsing the site as normal and pop in to see how the event is shaping up

and I see there is a Seat which isn't even a Briskoda members

car on the list never mind a Skoda. Presumably though if you're in with the right people

then certain rules are overlooked? I would have loved to have taken part in this event.  

But clearly I'm not in the right clique.

c'mon, if there's a non Briskoda SEAT, what's wrong with letting Garry out there?

I said about 3 or 4 weeks ago when it was looking dicey, I would accept Brisky members in non Skodas but it all went quiet on that front, I got the cupra, and then the rest filled up.... I was verging on opening up to Pistonheads too.  I expect that post is probably now lost in the previous pages of this thread.
