Oh, an Audi.... I was even going to wash the Yeti but I won't bother now..

Costco muffins and danish pastries are also favourable

How did I manage to miss this

Any chance of squeezing my Fabia on the club stand ??

Won't go out on the track

Just ordered some new tires. Hopefully they work out ok :)

I wonder how many times my Land Rover would get lapped by the 60bhp Fabia if I joined you.

Don't worry about the Audi, I'll park it out of the way at the end of the stand.

I was hoping for more of a bite. :D

I'm just pleased that I won't see a yellow beast behind me and then suddenly way in front of me on the way there.

I may be a bit slower in the Yeti...

I may be a bit slow in the vRoomster....... faulty/failing injector/s currently :'(

I might even be tempted to fetch my Yeti out on track but will have to see how it goes on the day, it is getting old now and more suited to being parked!

You mean it's "nicely loosened up!" ;)

SLACK is the term I think, when at CC you should take it down the road and see how it slips through the gears without the clutch and of course the shine on the steering wheel, it is now on its final 12 months and I am sure it will get more loosened up   still pulls like a train though!

Well, there are still two spots if you fancy an upgrade James

I would need a tow rope on the back of Richards Yeti to drag mine around

Come on, you know you want to! :)

ooohh, temptation....   Really guys, as much as I know the Yeti is a capable car to keep up on the track and I know I can find and stay within my limits, I really can't go out there as I don't have control on the others, if it were my car I would be out but it is leaseplans car and if I trash it I could have employment issues too!

See it now,  err boss, I have had a little accident in the car

Did you get the registration and details of the other car?

Yes boss but we were on a track so weren't insured

 Your fired

I guess it would go like that anyway..

Anyway, I have found a new van you should consider for your business Richard, it is frugal and quite nippy, see below, what do you think?

Easy to remove plates. A member a few years back was fired after being photographed at castle combe in the company car...

Ooops!

No wonder the plates with the forum username on are so popular! :D

Doesn't look that different to the Yeti James. ;)

I don't want to lose the DPF though and make lots of that nasty soot stuff though... :bandit:

Am currently working on an oil cooler, it's a bit of a problem in the Yeti as once it's warmed up in the first session I'll be heading over +120c about half way through the second session and I'll have to back off.

That's why after the first stint I was only doing three laps of Bedford before coming in all the time. :(

Is the oil cooler like the one on my Golf?  It circulates through a heat exchanger with the coolant system, so even on tickover the oil is warmed by the water and on full chat the oil is cooled via an air cooler and the coolant system through the heat exchanger, a simple switch to a lower temp opening thermostat has massive advantages on the cooling side. Not sure if the Yeti has this though.

Or you could fit a FMOC and make the Yeti look like a Fabia with a FMIC

LOL I remember that. IIRC it had something to do with a Facebook status update too?

I have already been pulled by the MD for Richards post from Bedford, it was listed as Yeti at Bedford, he saw it and thought it was me in my Yeti, I pointed out the the RED Yeti (mine is white) was followed by a blue Fabia which I was driving, this was a close call. You just never know who is watching so I will watch and eat cake.
