Was a good evening,

Don't think Si relised there was a Police Volvo alongside him when he booted it down the slip road!!!

If he had got stopped & they had seen the open bottle of wine in the car , i'm sure it would have been instant breathalyser + he'd had a small amount of that wine within 10 mins of us leaving , So it would have been very close.

Mike - Si thought it was you next to him (at first) and was about to give you a run for your money!!

Steve - what do you mean open bottle of wine in the car????

Si - next time, when the police Volvo is along side you, don't wind down your window and say "I'll let you win this time....."

Ah ! so the inside of Si's car now smells like a wine cellar, where you dropped the bottle when you saw the police ? :D

Thankfully not! But he did leaving it laying on passenger seat on its side when we stopped off at the kebab Shoppe on the way home. Luckily the kind people at Newnham at resealed it well for him! Apparently it didn't remain sealed for long tho! Eh Justin?? :-)

Sorry I missed this one, was hoping to attend but got dragged to antenatal classes - ended up on a boozer with all the husbands anyway so wasn't a complete loss
