2X New vRS Owners this week. Congratulations/questions.

Featured Replies

Both cars, Estate & Hatch look great in the colours you chose.

Can i please ask a couple of questions, (first and last) since both of you already were running a vRS.

What did the Dipstick level show with a 'cold dip' as delivered by the dealer?

Did you check the tyre pressures to see what the cars were delivered with?

(Have you adjusted them and re-set the TPMS)

Didn't check oil or tyre pressures yesterday if I'm honest. Will have a look today though.

I pick mine up tomorrow - if I remember I shall have a look....

I checked my tyre pressures and they were fine ( a little high, not much (2.65 bar) but Tyres warm as I'd just driven 15 miles) oil was over orange bar at the top .....

And enjoy your new car :)

AAAAHHH ! I cannot wait to get mine, gets built next week.

Just get on with driving the arse off it. That's what warranty is for

It is, if you can be bothered with the hassle of that.

but the question was nothing to do with oil usage which i am sure there will be none of,

but out of curiosity as to where the oil would be, on a new car straight from a PDI..

(2 minutes to check and for future reference you know the answer.)

I dipped 2 cars at the Skoda garage yesterday, one used and one almost new demonstrator and the demonstrator was like 'sharkriders' top orange marker and the Used car was half down the Crosshatch.

From checking my new one today:

Oil was at just above the orange plastic at cold.

Tyres were all 2.5 bar give or take 0.1 This pretty much reflects what the sticker suggests, is 2.5 recommended?

I have done 50k + with 2.5 bar , perfect :)
