Welsh rugby legend signed rugby ball for sale!

Bit of a story behind this... I used to play rugby for Tunbridge Wells RFC and during my time we had many charity (booze driven) events and items were available to bid on and whilst drunk I ended up with this!

Not old enough to know who he is but it didn't matter at the time.

Ill forward the email weve sent all over! Weve had an awesome response from and loads of stuff sent from Jodie Marsh, Wasps rugby club too name drop 2!

Sir/Madam This is the bit where I tell you why I'm contacting you. Earlier this year a colleague of mine had a terrible accident on a bike whilst training for a Triathlon. During this training session, she had a nasty fall off her bike, and she landed other back. In her rucksack was a bottle of water. This accident left her spine broken and now she is paralysed from the chest down.

Apart from this horrendous injury, it's shattered many aspirations of hers. Many years ago, she was struggling to pass her fitness test at the Prison where we work. She took the bull by the horns and changed her life around to lose weight and become the fit person she became.

Since she accomplished this, her zest for life was amazing, and she contributed and raised money for numerous charities that we sponsor through work. As you can imagine this has left Viv, her family and colleagues shocked and devastated. She is a valued officer and will be missed on the wings where she worked. 

What were doing. 

On September 4th @ 1930hrs, we will be playing our charity match at Gravesend Rugby Club against a very good Vets team. Our Governor is buying our kit, and then we are donating money to the collection for Viv, and keeping our kit if we choose. All of us will be keeping our kit however, as the intention after this is to carry on the team and compete where we can. We will be raising money throughout the evening for her, in the form of donations and things yet to be confirmed.  

Our Team. 

Our team is comprised of people, male and female, who have never picked up a rugby ball, trained a little bit, and some seasoned players and referees. We train 2-3 times a week in our lunch break, and give up valuable gym, eating and some smoking time. I do not smoke, but do enjoy the gym and eating! What were hoping for. In passing comment between myself and a fellow officer who may contact you aswell. We said wouldn't it be good if we can get some thank you gifts for the coaches that have given up their time to train us, and things to auction off for a fund raiser. 

I hope this email reaches the right people, if it doesn't could you please forward it on to them. I apologise for the length of the email but felt like I should tell you all I can.
