Another One for the Regency Green Club

Featured Replies

The first time I saw a Regency Green Yeti was on the dealer's forecourt when I went to order mine - it was going to be red. Now it seems from recent posts everyone has, or is getting, them!

I picked up mine yesterday. To go with the Regency Green I specified the Gobi Sand interior - I wasn't sure it would look as good with the black interior. Mine is the 1.2 TSI Elegance and I added the sunroof option together with an (essential) spare wheel, tyre pressure monitoring and the heated front screen. Front sensors seemed a sensible option but I couldn't resist upgrading to the boys toy of parking assist! Great fun. As I'm not a fan of low profile tyres I managed to persuade Skoda UK to arrange for non-standard 16" Moon alloys (with hopefully a side benefit that they will be easier to keep clean!!).

Today I fitted wind deflectors so that I can naturally ventilate the car in wet weather (or "summer" as we call it in the UK) without rain coming in and whilst its too early to say whether wind noise is going to be a problem I think they actually add something to the look as the near black of the Heko deflectors ties the black plastic on the pillars together. I'll try and upload a couple of photos over the weekend. (The deflectors were really easy to fit - about 10 minutes. It took me longer to get them out of the packaging).

Twenty four hours into my ownership I'm really pleased with the car although still trying to find my way around the various buttons and switches. (I think I have auto-wipers but where they lurk.....) and of course I'm still ploughing through the extensive, quirky and, to my fading eyesight, tiny print owners manual.

Welcome. Likewise we got ours yesterday. I downloaded the manual to an iPad. Much easier to read that way. Enjoy your lovey green new Yeti.

Welcome Paul52 - Regency Green has become popular!

Welcome. Enjoy the beasty!

As to your auto wipers: the click up (intermittent on a non auto wiper car) is where you will find this. And the toggle on top of the stalk controls the sensitivity (speed).

What a fine choice of colour scheme.

Great minds think alike.

See my pics below.

Cheers, Fuzzy
