When you get your NCB letter from Admiral does it say 1 years NCB or 10 months? :confused:

Should be one year NCB you get.

I don't know about letters, most insurance companies seemed happy to take my word on it when I quoted 1 year's NCB...

I've been with Admiral for a while and have always been on their accelerated policy and you do get a year's NCB. I recently received my 4 years NCB letter which I have taken to More Than as they will protect it for life.

It's definetely a good way to build up your NCB but I'd shop around after a while.

every insurance company i've had quotes from wanted proof of NCB's when it came to taking the policy with them.

only one that hasnt is Adrian Flux and thats only cause i've been with them for about 3 years on the trot now.

Friend just bought my old car and has done this. She's going away for two months and can suspend the insurance policy for 2 months and still gets a full year's NCB. And it actually shows as a full year...

I thought that was pretty neat.

A 10 month policy with admiral is going to cost

when i had the admiral bonus accelerator policy when renewal time it stated that i had 3 years ncb gained over 2 yrs 10 mths, i then switched elephant and after a year with them the just said i had 4 years ncb so the didnt refer to the 4ys ncb being earned of 3yrs 10 mths

yep, with elephant here and they just say a full year ncb for eash 10 month period

i was with and am with elephant and admiral respectivly, and always went for there 12 mth policy to give me two extra months saving.
