Anybody had any experience with Continental sport contact 5 tyres on their mk1 Octavia vrs. I'm considering some for myself as these federals that are on at the moment are hopeless in wet conditions. I know no tyre is great in the wet but I do want to have a bit of confidence.

I've never run them on my vrs but used to run sport contacts on my volvo and quiet liked them altho they wern't fantastic in the wet or not as good as the goodyear eagle F1's

Ive got them on the front and find they stick to the road really well, not had them break away entering r/abouts in dry or wet.

Almost same tread pattern as Conti sport 3's, softish tyre compound that i suspect would wear quite rapidly if pushed hard.

My Sport contact 3s are amazing. Was gonna go for Sport contact 5s when these wear out.

Sport Contact 3's used to last me between 20,000 and 23,000 on my last motor. I went through three sets.
