Hi all, I am looking to replace my ambiente seats and door cards with something more upmarket, the Vrs trim. So if anyone has any vrs seats and door cards they are looking to get rid of in the london area please post a price and location or p.m me at [email protected]

I am really interested in something good quality if possible.

Also has anyone changed their seats on her? is it a straight swap or a pain in the ass? any tips would be appreciated.

I honestly wouldn't bother especially if that is your family in your avantar as the white bits keep alot of keeping upto, better off with a leather interior out of another VAG car in range,

I couldn't wait to get rid of my vRS seats. Skoda seats are a bit rubbish in the actual seat base quality too. Better off going for something else from the range, like Golf MkIV Gti leather seats, Seat Toledo, Leon, or Audi S3 Recaro's like mine. Then there's MkIV R32 seats as well, but would look a bit ridiculous in an Ambiente, to be fair.

I never even considered the fact that VAG seats may be a winner. What ones would fit in my octy without any hassle?!

Good point about the white middle, i`ve seen some cheap ones which are really grubby, and normal skoda seats are not that great on a long drive. Thought about the L&K setup but thats more for the older guys who don`t mind tan leather. I would kill for some decent leather seats that i can just whack in and be comfortable in, especially as we are gonna put on some allys and ride comfort will undoubtedly get compromised!

Anything from Golf MkIV, Toledo, MkI Leon, MkI A3, should all drop straight in. The only thing to note, is that the seats from the 2-door versions have a slight (very slight) gap along the sides of the rear seats, but it's not bad enough to look ugly.

I'd stick with looking for MkIV Gti leather seats. Look nice enough, cheap enough. Anything else is going to be overkill. And the S3 seats (and some of the nicer Toledo seats) you'd need to wire in the electrics.

Even the cloth Gti seats aren't bad. Do some googling.

Or course, as for door cards, only Octavia will fit. And the Estate rear door cards are smaller than the Hatchback versions. These aren't interchangeable at all.
