new radio, bad radio signal

So I have my second octavia. Octavia II, december 2005. best car so far. I bought a new 2din radio. A Columbus replica. I have added a fakra to din amplifier and my radio signal is back. But the signal is not acceptable. My hope is that a new whip and antenna foot on the roof will improve the signal ? Is there a better antenna than the original ? Also can I do anymore inside the car in order to improve the signal ?

I used a copy of this MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 MU0490 if anyone else needs, the site I think I had it from was mibsolution.one is currently down though. I was wary of the copy I had and passage of time, but it worked fine installed, I just have to clear the fault code ( have odbeleven but pro ran out and doesn't cover the adaption by looks of it) Excuse the state of my interior I don't use the car that much and could use a vaccuum.

Hi, I've got a weird powered tailgate issue on my Superb. If I press the interior button I can hear the lock release, but nothing happens after. If I press the button on the outside of the boot, the lock releases but nothing happens. If I press that button a few more times, I will eventually start rising but only to about half way. If I press the outside button again, it'll drop back down again but I have to press down on the boot to get it to do the final catch. The button on the inside o

Hello, Here are a few thoughts after 60,000 kilometres, for anyone thinking of buying an Octavia 4. I bought a second-hand car (Octavia 4 estate, TDI 150 hp (110 kW), DSG). It had almost all the features I was looking for. The car had clocked up almost 60,000 kilometres over four years when I bought it.
