I am selling my red 2003 Octavia vRS that has been a great car for 5 years!

Basic info :

56k miles

MOT till January

Tax till 10/13

Few bumps and scratches. Seats and carpet a bit stained and would need a shampoo. Looks great though as you can see from the pics.

I will be selling for spares or repair. Hopefully its an easy fix but I have a new Octavia and cannot afford to insure 2!

Basically it has no oil pressure. It has just had a new clutch and gearbox (Costing me £700 with receipt) so possibly something blocking the oil return pipe (from a search on here!). BUT it was driven about 10 miles with no pressure and the engine is sounding quite 'tappy' now.

I would have loved to have fixed her and sell properly but I can only be insured on the 1 car so basically need to get rid of it asap!

I am in Reading RG5

Was looking for around £1000 ideally but will consider all offers. You should be able to make this back on parts easily but would need the space to store. Would love to see her back on the road!

That engine is worth nowt I have just had to put engine and turbo in one similar age also

On another note it was great meeting with Clive from CNTUNING. What an honest decent bloke! I know where I will be getting my cars serviced from now on!

This will be the second vrs this month I've saved !!

So my tally of breaking them to restoring is coming back up lol

Will have her good as new by end of next week ;-)
