It will be one piece. I'm basing it on the black decals I received recently.

I'll wait til I have my yeti then check how the black ones are for length (without actually sticking them).

I see these decals and think extra protection to the lower doors, or am I missing something?

......a subtle reminder to myself of how long I have to wait for my car...

They're delivered by return nowadays, aren't they? :giggle:

I feel like an expectant father gazing at the sky hoping to see a massive stork delivering a sizeable package.

I'm to sure your customers could wait that long!

I tried sooo hard to resist, honestly I did. :giggle:

I'm not sure I can wait that long either.

Maybe I'll put the decals on the Juke and say its the FL

Hehe - you don't really want to drive a Nissan Joke, do you?   :giggle:  Actually, I've changed my mind. Instead of a decal bearing the name "Lucky", I think I'll have the name "Godot" instead.  :@

I'd rather drive a Juke than a Yeti with 'lucky' on the sides  :giggle:

Marie, you could have Eureka on yours. :)

Fair point. Add another 5-6mm or so for the panel gap between the two doors then. Plus similar for the front door wrap around?

Would it be best to make them maximum length to start? Then folk could start with the trailing edge where they preferred, and trim excess off the front?  Am I getting too deep for my own good?  Perhaps I should stop digging?

Whats the thinking aesthetically(sp?) on the height? Please regard the 135mm I quoted as a maximum. If it was deemed better to have a larger gap (than 20mm) below the rub strip and the decal finishing a few mm above the moulding line, then so be it.

Be good to check when you get your own Yeti of course.

Don't these make it look as if the Yeti goes faster backwards :-)

Looks good...  And a good tip about having to have it longer so it wraps around each of the doors!  I'd have missed that for sure.

Pastyboy should also be able to help with these decals.  He does the badges and things normally for people.

now that's a thought Marie.

can you do a photoshop of the solid colour at the front please?

I think the idea is that it fades towards the front wheel arch. If its solid there it may not look good.

I think the "Yeti" words also needs to move to the front if you mirror it...

what i meant was flip the entire graphic 180 horizontally so it fades toward the back and the yeti logo is at the front behind the front wheel arch. :)

No I don't want the logo at the front, I prefer it the way it was fading to lighter near the front.

I think CFB wants to see what this will look for HIS Yeti Marie...  not yours.   :giggle:

I see these decals and think on the 1980's........And now !!!.....I cant stop humming 'katchagoogoo' songs.

Right enough of 'to shy shy'.....Im going outside to wash my 'Ford Capri'.

1980s? I had 'go faster stripes on my Hillman Super Duper Imp in the mid 60s!!

And Porsche 908 and 917 racers, plus a lot of the go faster option road 911's had elongated triple stripe "P O R S C H E" stickers along the sills from the late 60s. I remember this as I had the same (nearly) stripes drawn across the base of my school exercise book - but rather embarrassingly missed the "C" out! But no-one noticed for at least two months. Ford then mockingly mimicked similar stripes on the GT40 after beating both Ferrari and Porsche at Le Mans.

Back to the subject of decals and protection.

I'm debating whether to go ahead and put the solid black ones (that I already have here) on Snowy whilst he's all clean and damage free.

Decisions, decisions  :wonder:

Makes sense, you want them on paintwork as clean and fresh as possible.

Also warm conditions are ideal.

Ah, point?  That's Skye, so snow is probably imminent?
