I have picked up a stone from the tarmac guys and due to it raining yesterday I have a lovely arc shaped scratch on my windscreen.

Any good ideas how to polish it out?

Bloody annoying

Depends just how bad it is. I once had good results (albeit on a normal window) using Jewellers Rouge.

Sadly I think because of the way the tint is on Windscreens of VAG vehicles polishing out is not going to work.

Thanks guys just have to live with it for now. I am lucky that I don't have a bullseye in the glass as last week a biggish stone bounced off of a 16ton lorry, luckily it bounced off the windscreen with a slight scuff.

I remember this happening to my Ford focus I owned and it was only a few months old and my only choice was a new windscreen but i know what you mean about annoying as it was right in my line of site and you could not miss it.

I will have to live with it for now and when the chips get to a point that I am naffed off looking at them then for £70 time to change it.
